ANNUAL CHOL HAMOED SOCCER GAME: The Block Yeshiva boys soccer team challenge alumni and the community in the annual Chol Hamoed soccer game, Saturday night, September 22 at 8:45 pm. The game will be at Heman Park Field #3, at the corner of Balson and Midland.
TUTTI FRUTTI: FHA's monthly Tutti Frutti fundraiser is back! September 24, from 12 - 10 pm, place your receipt in the box near the cash register and a portion of your purchase price will be donated to FHA.

CHOL HAMOED CARNIVAL: Celebrate Sukkot with the entire family at the Chol Hamoed Carnival. The carnival features rides and games for all age groups, as well as kosher concessions, including funnel cakes, cotton candy, snow cones and more. Located at 8020 Olive Blvd, just east of 81st St., in the Seafood City parking lot. Open to everyone on Monday, September 23, from 4 PM and on Tuesday, September 24 from 6 PM. Also on Tuesday, the carnival will be open for girls only from 12 - 3 PM, and for boys only from 3 - 6 PM. Ride tickets are available on-site. A photographer will be available to take family photos. Monday evening will feature a special appearance by a surprise local celebrity.
SPECIAL SHIUR FOR WOMEN ON MIKVAH: Professor Nechama Price will be giving a special shiur, in memory of Erna Waltuch ע"ה, to commemorate Erna’s yahrtzeit which is Hoshanah Rabbah. The topic will be: “Stain" Solution: the Rules of Staining for all Stages of Life, Tuesday night, Sept 24, Leil Hoshanah Rabbah, 8:00pm at the Mansions on Delmar. This shiur is co-sponsored by Erna’s daughter, Adinah Raskas, and family and the Friends of the Hebrew Academy.
