Our condolences to Leila & Stan Biel, as well as Leila’s siblings, Philip, David, and Frances, on the passing of their father and father-in-law, Abe Redlich. Shiva is at Abe’s home, 8139 Balson, through Wednesday morning. There will be minyanim at the shiva house on Sunday at 8:00 am and 7:10 pm. Meals for Shabbat are being prepared by Kohn's. SHABBAT SHUVA DRASHA: Rabbi Shulman will give his annual Shabbat Shuva Drasha next week, September 7th, at 5:25 pm (note earlier time).
SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS
VOLUTEERS NEEDED: To setup the Shul for Rosh Hashana. Please plan to stay after Shacharit on Sunday, Sept. 1st, to help set the chairs for the Chagim.
CHILDREN’S BLOWING SHOFAR & TASHLICH: There will be a special shofar blowing for all children this Rosh Hashana. The first day, Thursday, will be at the home of Rabbi Shulman, 8055 Amherst, at 5:00 pm and then children grades K-6 can go together to take part in a special children’s tashlich program run by Mali and Moriya at the home of Ronnie & Donna Fredman, 7944 Gannon, at 5:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served at tashlich. The shofar blowing on the second day, Friday, will be at shul directly after davening.
Please note that this shofar blowing will include a full 30 blasts and will be halachically acceptable for anyone who misses shofar blowing Rosh Hashana morning.

BIMAH DECORATIONS FOR YOM TOV: This year there will be decorative baskets on the bimah created by the Women's Division. A donation will be made to Tomchei Shabbos.
