BAT MITZVAH PROJECT: Elisheva Greene has selected the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind as her Mitzvah Project for her Bat Mitzvah. This non-profit organization provides guide dogs to visually impaired Israelis free of charge. To help reach her goal, you can make a secure donation online by clicking on her Fundraising Site: http://IGDCB.donorpages.com/Mitzvah/ElishevaGreene or donations can be mailed to 968 Easton Rd. - Suite H, Warrington, PA 18976 (please indicate that the funds are to go towards Elisheva’s goal.).
DAMIAN’S RIDE TO ISRAEL: When Damian Lopez Alfonso was a boy living in Cuba he was severely burned, losing his forearms and most of his face. Despite his serious injuries, Damian became an excellent bicyclist. Rafi Fredman (son of Carey and Susie Fredman) is raising funds to send Damian to Israel in October to ride in "Wheels of Love" bike ride to support Alyn Hospital, a pediatric hospital in Israel that treats children who, like Damian, have severe injuries and rehabilitation needs. Having Damian ride in “Wheels of Love” will show these children that despite their disabilities, they can do AMAZING THINGS. In addition to transportation costs, Damian must raise at least $3250 in donations to Alyn Hospital in order to ride. This is a great opportunity to give tzedaka to a very important cause in Israel. To donate, visit www.youcaring.com/other/damian-s-ride-to-israel-/76740 or contact Rafi at (314) 277-3715 or email@example.com. Thank you!
