CONDOLENCES

Our condolences to Elliott & Shirley Franklin on the passing of their mother and mother-in-law, Freda Franklin, in Memphis. Elliott & Shirley have returned to St. Louis and Elliott will finish sitting shiva here, at their home, 7532 Amherst. Elliott will be getting up from shiva on Sunday morning after Shacharit services at 8:00am. May the family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

EPSTEIN ALUMNI BASKETBALL: Saturday, November 24th at 7:30 pm. The entire community and all EHA Alumni are invited to the 3rd Annual Alumni Basketball Game in the School Gymnasium. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

MORE TUTTI FRUTTI: November 27th, 12 – 8 pm, EHA and FHA will receive a percentage of purchase when you mention them.

ISRAEL DISCUSSION: A community gathering and panel discussion: The situation in Israel and Gaza and Report on Relief Effortswill take place Wednesday, November 28th, 7:30 pm, at Shaare Zedek Synagogue, 829 N. Hanley Rd.

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY CHESS TOURNAMENT: Checkmate St Louis is having its inaugural Thanksgiving chess tournament on Sunday, November 25th, 1:00 – 4:00 pm, at Block Yeshiva High School girls’ school, 1146 N.
