YOUNG ISRAEL FAMILY DINNER: New Date. Join us for Kabbalat Shabbat and Dinner on November 16th. Cost: $18/adult, $8/child 12 and under, with a $72 family max. Additional sponsorships for the dinner begin at $18. RSVP to the office is a must by November 9th.
BAKING SCHEDULE: Bonnie Goldmeier will be baking for our kiddushim on November 7th at 1:00 pm and November 27th at 11:30 am, and cooking for the Family Dinner on November 12th at 1:00 pm. Anyone who would like to help is welcome to join her.
RABBI FRANK & ADELE HOFFMAN SHABBAT CHINUCH: Shabbat Chinuch, for children in kindergarten and 1st grade, will be Shabbat Toldot, November 17th. ART MUSEUM TOUR: November 11th. Those on the tour should meet at the Art Museum in the Sculpture Hall, 1:45 – 2:00 pm. The tour begins promptly at 2:00 pm.
NEW PROGRAM - CHAT WITH SENIORS: Members of our Shul are going to be visiting senior members who are either house bound or would enjoy a visit from a member of our Shul. Beyond "Because I said So": FHA presents a workshop for parents with a trained expert from the St. Louis Children's Hospital, who will help parents understand the difference between discipline and punishment. @ EHA, Thurs. morning, Nov. 15, 8:30 - 10:00 am. MARATHON RUNNERS: Micah & Aliza (Haber) Miller will be running a half marathon on December 2nd in Las Vegas, NV to support the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
