WOMEN'S DIVISION

ESTHER'S EXRESS: Purim will be here before we know it. The Women's Division is once again offering beautifully themed Mishloach Manot packages. To send to the entire Shul is only $125. SAVE THE DATE: The Annual Ahavas Chesed Zayin Adar Dinner will be Wednesday, February 29th, 6:00 pm, at the U. City Shul. The guest speaker will be Rabbi Yissachar Frand of Ner Yisroel Yeshiva in Baltimore. The cost of the dinner is $36. For more info and reservations, call Lynda Cohen at 314-862-0025. ANNUAL PUIRM PARADE: Will be on Purim, Thursday, March 8th. It will begin at the corner of Gay & Cornell at 2:00pm and end at Saxony Ct.

BLOOD DRIVE & BONE MARROW REGISTRY: At Shaare Zedek in honor of Rabbi Mark Fasman, on March 6th from 3-8 pm. You may register online for the blood drive at http://www.redcrossblood.org/. Several volunteers are needed to assist with the bone marrow registry. Call their office at 314-727-1747 to register for testing and/or to volunteer. For those who gave blood at Young Israel, there’s a 56 day wait prior to donating again. Therefore, those who donated at our drive will not be eligible. But for those who wanted to give but were out of town, or had a cold, etc., they could be eligible


BNEI AKIVA NEWS

HAMANTASHEN SALE: Bnei Akiva is having a hamantashen fund raiser. The hamantashen will be parve and baked in the Young Israel kitchen. Flavors include raspberry, apricot, chocolate cream and prune. Baker's dozen (that's 13) is $9.99 and can be one or two flavors. Half dozen is $4.99 and is only one flavor.
