The guest speaker will be Rav David Stav, the co-founder and executive director of Tzohar Rabbinical Organization.
GALA:St. Louis Torah MiTzion Kollel (TMK) is delighted to announce that its Gala 9th Anniversary Dinner will beheld on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 8 pm at Clayton Commons. The honorees are Rav Boaz Genut, our visionary first and founding St. Louis TMK Rosh Kollel and now the Executive Director of TMK International, and Assi & Gilat Gastfraind and Boaz & Yael Shachak, our current shlichim. All of TMK’s shlichim in North America will be coming to St. Louis that weekend for the 2011 North American TMK Convention, and we will also be welcoming them at the dinner. MARATHON: Rani Howard, daughter of Leah and Jerry Howard-Horowitz is raising money to participate in the Chai Lifeline half marathon. The money raised will also be in loving memory of Meira Bresler Riemer, who inspired so many people to better themselves while fighting her battle with cancer. TOMCHEI SHABBOS: The Epstein Hebrew Academy Girl Scouts are holding a Thanksgiving food drive for TOMCHEI SHABBOS!More than 30 families within our community are being helped regularly by Tomchei Shabbos. We are in need of non-perishable foods and paper & toiletry items. There is a box for donations downstairs outside the office.
THE ST LOUIS WEDDING DRESS GMACH has a wide selection of beautiful bridal gowns, as well as mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses, all suitable for Orthodox weddings. We also have some lovely matching flower girl dresses, and some tuxedos for little boys. All dresses are loaned free of charge.
