SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS

RABBI'S TANACH CLASS: The Rabbi's class in Shoftim-Part 3: "Shimshon-Holy Man or Thug?" will begin the week of August 29 – Mondays at 9:15 am and Wednesdays at 8:00 pm.

 WOMEN'S SHIUR: The next Matil Ziril (Matilda Zeffren) Women’s Shiur will be this Shabbat, August 13th, at the home of Rita Bresler, 8009 Cornell, at 4:30 pm. The featured speaker will be Rabbi Asher Yablok, Matilda's grandson-in-law.

LOST AND FOUND: We now have a designated lost and found area located downstairs on the coat rack and shelf above it. Please check it for any of your items that may be missing. Items left at the end of the summer will be donated.

STONE DEDICATION: For Matilda Zeffren will take place Sunday, August 14th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Beis HaMedrash Hagadol Cemetery at Price and Ladue.

KOL HaNA'ARIM TALIT 2011, 5752: Young Israel of St Louis Women’s Division is preparing early!! The Talit is a special part of Simchat Torah services, held over the heads of the children during their Aliyah. MOTZEI SHABBAT NACHAMU: Torah MiTzion Kollel is having an uplifting evening of music and nigunim of Yerushalayim, divrei torah and inspiration on Saturday night, August 13th, 9:45 pm, at the home of Sima and Mike Oberlander, 8347 Cornell.

BYHS FUNDRAISER: The Student Council of Block Yeshiva is having babysitting fundraiser for children ages 5-10 at Block Girl's School, 1146 North Warson, from 6 to 8 pm on the following nights: For boys on Monday August 15th and for girls on Wednesday August 17th.There will be lots of games, Disney movies and delicious snacks. Cost is $5 per child in advance or $7 at the door, maximum of $20 per family in advance or $25 at the door.
