SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS

RABBI'S TANACH CLASS: The Rabbi's class in Shoftim-Part 3: "Shimshon-Holy Man or Thug?" will begin the week of August 29 – Mondays at 9:15am and Wednesdays at 8:00pm.

 WOMEN'S SHIUR: The next Matil Ziril (Matilda Zeffren) Women’s Shiur will be Saturday, August 13th, at the home of Rita Bresler, 8009 Cornell, at 4:30 pm. The featured speaker will be Rabbi Asher Yablok, Matilda's grandson-in-law.

 STATEMENTS: Statements with this year's dues on were mailed this week. Anyone wishing to set up a payment schedule with a credit or debit card can contact Judy in the office.

LOST AND FOUND: We now have a designated lost and found area located downstairs on the coat rack and shelf above it. Please check it for any of your items that may be missing. Items left at the end of the summer will be donated.

STONE DEDICATION: For Matilda Zeffren will take place Sunday, August 14th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Beis HaMedrash Hagadol Cemetery at Price and Ladue.

SAFETY PROGRAM: The Epstein Hebrew Academy and Torah Prep are running a joint child safety education program for children, parents, and teachers in response to the tragic events this past month in Brooklyn. We are looking for sponsors to help underwrite this important program. The program is designed to educate the community and our children about the dangers of strangers both in person and online. Beit Midrash for Women: Classes will resume at the end of the summer.

Registration is still open for Camp Derech Eretz for the next week, Monday, August 8th to Friday August 12th, 2011. Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through 11th grade in the fall of 2011. A special separate camping program is planned for the older grades.
