SHUL PROGRAMS

TMK’S TOT SUKKOT: Activities for children ages 3-6 on Thursday, September 23 (1st day Yom Tov), 4:30 pm at the Possick home, 7925 Delmar.

OPEN HOUSE: At the Shulman home, 8055 Amherst, on Shabbat Chol HaMoed, 4-6 pm, to celebrate Sukkot and to welcome Zippi, Motti and Chiena Meira.

HAVERIM BOOK CLUB: The book club is now reading "The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak. The book is available at the Brodsky library. The next discussion will be after the Yom Tovim.


COMMUNITY NEWS

TOVELING:Once again the girls at Block Yeshiva High School will tovel your items for you as one of their chesed projects. They are beginning this Sunday and Monday. Proceeds will fund further chesed programming. For questions and pick-up, please call Aniel Shapiro at 314-862-3745.

HAT SHOW AND SALE: At the home of Jessie Lefton, 1012 Laval, Sunday and Monday, 6-10pm or for an appointment call 314-954-5841. 20% of all sales will go to Epstein Hebrew Academy.

FOOD DRIVE: The Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry is having its annual High Holiday Food Drive. Some of the items needed most are: tuna, peanut butter, rice, healthy snacks, paper products and toiletries. You can leave bags of items outside the office. We will be collecting until after Sukkot. Please bring what you can.
