SHUL PROGRAMS

WOMEN’S SHUIR: The time for the women’s shiur this Shabbat with Shira Yablok has been changed to 4:15 pm to accommodate the shiur being given by Rabbi Kaminetsky at the home of Betty Ozar at 5:30 pm. The other guest speakers for this summer are: Lisa Goldenhersh on July 24^th and Alison Zaromb on August 7^th.

HAVERIM BOOK CLUB: We are reading "The Coffee Trader” by David Liss. The book is available at the Brodsky library. The next discussion will be Shabbat, July 17, at 5:00 pm at the Sukhodolsky home. The book club is asking for recommendations for books to read. Anyone recommending a book to the club will then have the opportunity to lead the discussion about the book at a Book Club meeting.

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME: The 4^th Annual Cardinal Baseball Event will be Tuesday, August 17^th against the Milwaukee Brewers. The game begins at 7:15 pm. Cost is $9.50/adult and $7/child. A Mincha/Maariv minyan will be held at the ballpark. Please contact the office for tickets by Monday, July 19^th to secure these prices.

NOTED AUTHOR TO SPEAK: On Sunday July 11, 7:00 pm, Dr Rivkah Blau will speak at Young Israel. Her topic is: Analyzing Challenges in TaNaKh: Single Life, Marriage, and Family. The event is sponsored by the Sarah Adelman Memorial Fund. Minimum donation: $18/family.

UNVEILING: The monument unveiling for Erna Waltuch will be Sunday, July 18^th, 1:00 pm, at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery West, White Road.

SPECIAL FILM PROGRAM ON TISHA B’AV: The Holocaust Museum & Learning Center presents a 50-minute film, Keep the Connection, on Tisha B’Av – Tuesday, July 20^th, at 2 pm, at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building.
