SHUL PROGRAMS

SHABBAT YOUTH GROUPS: The regular staff for the Shabbat groups is away for the summer. We are working on potential options for continuing during these months. Stay tuned for more details – the management team.

RABBI’S CLASSES: The Monday / Wednesday evening classes will conclude this week, June 28th / June 30th, respectively.

The Women's Shiur Returns!! This Shabbat afternoon, June 26, will be the first of our Shabbat afternoon Women's Shiurim. Join us at the shul at 4:45 p.m. to listen, learn, think and discuss with the women of our community. Our first speaker will be Rebbetzin Baila Shulman.

GENERAL SHUL MEETING: Will be held on Thursday, July 1st, at 7:00 pm at Young Israel. We will be reviewing the past year and looking ahead to the coming year.

HAVERIM BOOK CLUB: We are reading "The Coffee Trader” by David Liss. The book is available at the Brodsky library. The next discussion will be Shabbat, July 17, at 4:30 pm at the Sukhodolsky home.

YETRA GOLDBERG MEMORIAL SERVICE:

A memorial service for our beloved Yetra Goldberg will be held on Monday, June 28th, at the Jewish Federation building, 12 Millstone Campus, 5:30-6:30 pm.

MTI DESSERT RECEPTIONG: Annual Dessert Reception, Monday June 28, 8:15-11:00 pm, St. Louis Airport Marriott, honoring Stephen and Pnina Glassman as they dedicate the Glassman-Pollack Educational Wing. Special guest speaker: Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff. Cost: $36/person, $54/couple

NOTED AUTHOR TO SPEAK: On Sunday July 11, 7:00 pm, Dr Rivkah Blau will speak at Young Israel. Her topic is: Analyzing Challenges in TaNaKh: Single Life, Marriage, and Family. The event is sponsored by the Sarah Adelman Memorial Fund. Minimum donation: $18/family
