SHUL PROGRAMS
YOUTH GROUPS: 10:30 - 11:30 am every Shabbat until summer vacation. Groups are for 2 yr olds – pre-k, k - 2nd, 3rd - 5th boys, and 3rd - 5th girls. In addition, parents will supervise the halls during group time. Children must be downstairs behaving in groups or with their parents in Shul and at 11:30 am everyone will go into Shul for the end of davening.

GUEST SPEAKER: Rabbi Akiva Tatz will be speaking at Young Israel this Shabbat before Mincha and at Seudah Shlishit.
SUNDAY LEARNING: Congratulations to the Sunday morning Tanach study group on completing the books of Daniel, Ezra, and Nechemia. The group meets 9-10 am and this Sunday, we start an in-depth analysis of Isaiah and his Kings. The goal is to see how geopolitics help explain the difficult language of prophecy. New participants are invited and welcome.
TEFILLAH INITIATIVE: We will be participating in the St. Louis Community Wide Tefillah Initiative next weekend, May 14th-15th. Rabbi Heshy Kleinman, author of ‘Praying With Fire’, will be speaking at Young Israel Shabbat morning, May 15th after davening at 11:35 am. There will also be an NCSY Oneg Shabbat the night before at the home of Rabbi & Mrs Kirshner, 8112 Tulane, at 9:45 pm. See flyer in lobby for more details.
