CONDOLENCES

Our condolences to Earl and Faye Newman on the passing on Earl’s brother, Robert Newman. The funeral will take place on Sunday, 3:30 pm, graveside at the Beth Medrash Hagadol cemetery on Ladue Road. Shiva will begin at the home of the deceased, 233 Pebble Acres, Creve Coeur, through Tuesday evening, and continuing at Earl & Fay’s home from Wednesday through Friday, 7916 Sanford.  Services will be at 7:00am and 5:30pm throughout the week.

 


IT’S HERE !!!!! ---The Teperbergs have arrived from Israel, the Landy clan will be gathering, and we look forward to meeting you all at Café Rimonim this Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm.  If you don’t have your reservation in, call Judy in the office to secure your place at this freilich, yummy social event. 

As part of the week of programs that the Teperbergs are involved in during their stay leading up to the dinner, we have organized a special “Lunch & Learn” program for this coming Monday from 12:00-1:00 pm, at the Shul. Uria will lead a program on the teachings of Rav Nachman of Breslov, on the topic: “Moshe Received the Torah at Sinai..” Sandwich box lunches (including sandwich, side-dish, and desert) are available for $8.00. PURIM IS COMING: And so is Esther’s Express. The Womens Division is once again sending Mishloach Manot packages for you. For $150, you can send a beautiful gift package to the entire shul. AND PURIM DOESN’T END: This year Young Israel is having a Shushan Purim Party after your Purim Seudah on Tuesday night, March 10th from 8 - 10 pm. There will be music, finger food, a Purim Shpiel and lots of fun. No reservations are needed. The cost is $10/person at the door.

Mishnat Pinchas, the TMK parent/child learning begins 5 minutes after the start of Kiddush.We are studying Perek 5 of Pirkei Avot.
