B'Shvat is coming, so is "Borei Peirot HaAretz". Torah MiTzion
invites our supporters to 'Taste the Fruits of Israel' on Erev Tu b'Shvat. On
Motzei Shabbat, February 7th, at 8 PM, two short Israeli films will
be shown (The Orthodox Way and Ido, both with English subtitles) as we
celebrate the trees of
NEW MINI-SERIES ON THE HEBREW CALENDAR: Rabbi Shulman will be conducting a mini-series on Birkat HaChamah & The Hebrew Calendar on Mondays for 6 weeks starting on February 9 (skipping Purim), from 7:30-8:45pm. The series is being sponsored by Jill and David Mogil in memory of Jill’s father, Saul Mirowitz.

ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE: The St. Louis Community is truly fortunate to have various organizations available to help us in this time of flux and uncertainty. Under the leadership of the Jewish Federation, the Jewish Family & Children's Service, MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries, the JCC, and others have professional staff to help and advise those who are in need of employment, financial assistance, adult day programs, or any other issues. CROWN CENTER: In addition to recruiting more volunteers, the Crown Center is having a diabetes management class starting Tuesday, February 3 for six weeks, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. OASIS, in conjunction with Washington University, will facilitate this class. There is no charge to participants and the program is open to diabetics and friends/family of those with diabetes.
