TRIBUTE CARDS: Giving Tzedakah is the perfect way to commemorate a simcha or remember a loved one. The Women’s Division has tribute cards for just this purpose. Contact Matilda Zeffren at 862-3809 for more information.

KASHRUTH SYMBOL CARDS: The CRC has distributed credit card size laminated kashruth symbol cards – perfect for your purse or pocket. They are only $1.00 and are available in the office.

COMMUNITY NEWS

ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE: The St. Louis Community is truly fortunate to have various organizations available to help us in this time of flux and uncertainty. Under the leadership of the Jewish Federation, the Jewish Family & Children's Service, MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries, the JCC, and others have professional staff to help and advise those who are in need of employment, financial assistance, adult day programs, or any other issues. Please refer to the flyer in the lobby and take advantage of these wonderful resources.

CHANUKAH PARTY on the AIR FORCE BASE: Everyone is invited to the 2nd Annual Air Force Chanukah Party at the Scott Air Force Base Chapel, Sunday, December 28th, 1:00-4:00pm. HANUKAH HUGS 2008: The Food Pantry is distributing toys for Chanukah to families who come in to get food. Please bring a new, unwrapped gift for children, ages birth – 12. The box is downstairs outside of the Shul office. We have already sent one box of toys. Let’s do a couple more.

TOVELING: The Girls’ School of BYHS is having a Chesed fundraiser. They will tovel your dishes for you for just $18 per trip. Please contact Sheera Hirschhorn, Gabi Mankowitz, or Leah Wachsstock.

Celebration, Thursday Dec 25, 9:30am-1:30pm, Marilyn Fox Building in Chesterfield.Activities include TMK's annual candle making, menorah making, inflatables, sports, indoor pool games, dreidel spinning contests, storytelling, movie, music, crafts and more! Latkes, sufganiyot, bagels and other food will be available for purchase.  Admission: 8$ per child JCC members. 10$ per child for the general public.
