Special Presentation – Sefer Torah Registry: This Tuesday, Sept 2nd, at 8:00pm, there will be a public presentation by Machon Ott, on the topic of computerized global Sefer Torah Registry, what is it and how does it work? Machon Ott will be here in St. Louis reviewing, checking, and registering the Sifrei Torah in the Young Israel as well as several other shuls.

Young Israel and Torah MiTzion are honored to bring Rav Yuval Cherlow to St. Louis for a special pre-selichot shabbaton on September 20, on the theme of:“The Teshuva of Eretz Yisrael” – Reflections on the Identity of the State.” Rabbi Cherlow is the Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva Hesder in Petach Tikva, and co-founder of Tzohar.
