The Glass Mezuzah – December 25th
Take A Taste Of Ethiopia Home With You
THANK YOU – to Mordechai Simon for his creative work on the Ethiopian dinner and to Sara & Carl Aschkenasi, Ben & Nikki Zeff and Natalie & Jacob Sukhodolsky for their great cooking! YUM. To the band for the wonderful music: David Markowitz, Earl Newman, Shmueli Shulman & Uria Teperberg.
The Ethiopian cuisine served at our shul Chanukah party on Saturday night was a huge hit, but Chefs Sarah and Ben made enough to feed an army (larger than the Maccabees). Therefore we are pleased to be selling containers of Doro wot (Chicken stew), Chickpea wot (chickpeas, peas, carrots, and potatoes), Kik wot (yellow lentil stew) and green beans. Prices are $10 for the chicken, $7 for the chickpea and lentil wots, and $5 for the green beans. Make it take out this week! Call Vicki Isakow at 862-5661 to order. Sold on a first come first served basis.
