TMK News

1) Ulpan Registration is now open for the fourth annual Ulpan Ivrit - 5768 sponsored by Torah MiTzion Kollel.  Adult and children's Hebrew classes are taught by Vardit Teperberg and the Sherut Leumi girls at Young Israel every Tuesday & Wednesday.

Semester one is 13 classes, October 9th - January 9th.   Semester two, also 13 classes, is January 15th -  April 9th.  $100 for each semester is paid in advance. Every student receives his/her own workbook. Scholarships are available. To register, please send a check to Torah MiTzion, 8222 Gannon,  St. Louis, MO 63132.

 2) Bat Mitzvot!   - Announcing the First Meeting of the Mother/Daughter Bat Mitzvah Program on October 14th, 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  This educational program of 10 classes was developed by Oshra Koren of Matan in Israel. Torah MiTzion Kollel is the first to offer this unique program in the U.S. ($140, scholarships are available).  Mothers of 6th graders should contact Vardit Teperberg  (314 420-3696) or Suzanne Sundy (314 420-7880).

 3) Simchat Beit HaShoava of Torah MiTzion Kollel will be held at Bais Abraham Congregation (6910 Delmar Blvd) on September 30, 7-10 PM. Come for music, dessert and fun activities for the children in the Sukkah.

 4) TMK is looking for U. City garage space for 6-9 months to store appliances (refrigerator, washer or dryer).  Can you help?

Save the date:  Sunday, November 4, 2007* for Ohr Atid's First  Annual Trivia Night! Do you know the capital of Brazil? Where were the 1964 Olympic Games held?  If you know the answers to these questions (or if you want to know) and are in the mood for a fun evening of trivia, food, games and prizes, you won't want to miss this event. Trivia Night will be held at Clayton Commons. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the games begin at 7:00 PM.   Pull together teams/tables of 8-10 players at $18 per person (or perhaps you wish to sponsor a table for $180).
