CONDOLENCESto Jackie Oppenheimer & family on the loss of her beloved mother, Radine Feldman.  Jackie is sitting shiva at her home at 914 Albey Lane until Sunday morning.  There will be a Shacharit service at the shiva home at 8:00am Sunday morning.

KOL HAN’ARIM TALIT -Young Israel Women's Division invites you to participate in the tradition of the "Kol Han’arim Talit".  This talit is held above all of the children when they are called up to the Torah on Simchat Torah.  Please send your one-time fee of $18 per name for any boy or girl under the age of Bar/Bat Mitzva to Bonnie Drazen (8135 Amherst, 63130). Names will be embroidered and appliquéd to the talit. All orders must be in by Monday, September 1st, to be included on the talit for this year.

On the heals of the New Year, the Women's Beit Midrash will begin this week with a new book of the Prophets:  Shmuel I (come prepared by reading the first four chapters).  The location, for this Wednesday (9:15-10:15 AM) only, is at the home of Ruthie Asher (7941 Gannon).

Special Shabbat Party, 5-6PM for children K-6th at the Teperberg’s backyard, 7925 Delmar (Parshat-haShavua chidon, songs, refreshments & stories)

Holiday Celebration -  Children ages 3-9 and their parents and grandparents are invited to celebrate the fall holidays at PJ Storytime on Tuesday, September 11th at 6:45 PM, at the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library.
