ABOUT OUR MEMBERS
THANK YOU - A huge ‘grand slam’ thank you to RACHEL LUBCHANSKY for
all her work and successful efforts in organizing our Young Israel outing to
the Cardinals’ victory over the Marlins on Tuesday evening. Over 50 of us
gathered for the fun. A group of our young boys appeared on the Big
Screen Jumbotron singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the 7th
inning stretch and Busch Stadium lit up the scoreboard with a welcome to
Congregation Young Israel. Thank you, RACHEL.
The Transition Team thanks everyone who helped,
worked, cooked, volunteered, housed, transported, and welcomed our terrific
Rabbi Shulman, Baila, and family. Our work has now come to a close.
We want everyone at Young Israel to feel free to welcome the Shulmans into
their homes for Shabbos. And a special thank you goes out to BETSY
ZIMBALIST and ROSE ANN ARIEL for their hard work and coordination of 50 moving
parts. Well done!

KOL HAN’ARIM TALIT -Young
Israel Women's Division invites you to participate in the tradition of the
"Kol Han’arim Talit". This talit is held above all of the
children when they are called up to the Torah on Simchat Torah. Please
send your one-time fee of $18 per name for any boy or girl under the age of
Bar/Bat Mitzva to Bonnie Drazen (8135 Amherst, 63130). Names will be
embroidered and appliquéd to the talit. All orders must be in by Monday,
September 1st, to be included on the talit for this year.
Reminder! - The High Holiday seating forms and the Yizkor book forms are due
in the Shul office by this MONDAY,
AUGUST 27.
The babysitting form is due no later than September 5th.
