MISSING SIDURIM – The Shul is missing 22 Art Scroll Sidurim (replacement value about $1,000). If anyone knows who might have taken them, please help us. Contact Mitch Wolf or the office.

 

KOL HAN’ARIM TALIT -Young Israel Women's Division invites you to participate in the tradition of the "Kol Han’arim Talit".  This talit is held above all of the children when they are called up to the Torah on Simchat Torah.  Please send your one-time fee of $18 per name for any boy or girl under the age of Bar/Bat Mitzva to Bonnie Drazen (8135 Amherst, 63130). Names will be embroidered and appliquéd to the talit. All orders must be in by Monday, September 10th, to be included on the talit for this year.

 

NEW YEARS GREETINGS - Young Israel Women's Division is pleased to invite everyone to offer Rosh Hashanah greetings. You may list your name for $10 or place a personalized message for $18.  Send checks made payable to YI Women's Division to Matilda Zeffren, 8038 Cornell. The deadline is August 20th.

Reminder! - The High Holiday seating forms and Yizkor forms are due in the Shul office by August 27th. The babysitting form is due no later than September 5th. Thank you!

Holiday Celebration - Children ages 3-9 and their parents and grandparents are invited to celebrate the fall holidays at PJ Storytime on Tuesday, September 11th at 6:45 PM, at the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library. Jewish Council Against Family Violence & Jewish Women International presents Rabbi Joseph Telushkin speaking on WORDS THAT HURT, WORDS THAT HEAL, Communication for Healthy Relationships.
