Our two new Sherut Leumi girls, Eliana Smith and Shani Batit arrive August 12th to join the Torah MiTzion staff. Details for a festive TMK welcome to follow.  We know that their talent and energy will infuse on children with a love of Israel & Torah.

MELAVE MALKA: 9:45 PM this Motzei Shabbos.  Everyone is invited to a wine and cheese reception at Young Israel. Tobi Kahn will speak about “Art as Transformation:  Thinking Visually”.  Dessert will follow the lecture.

Shabbat Kallah:  The ladies of our community are invited to attend a Shabbat Kallah in honor of Dalia Oppenheimer next Shabbat, August 4th at 6:00 PM at the Oppenheimer home, 914 Albey Lane.

 

Sunday August 26th. We’re having a shul picnic to welcome Rabbi Moshe and Baila Shulman and their family, 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, at Irv Zeid Park on Old Bonhomme next to Logos School.

FREE the Israeli Soldiers Solidarity Gathering: Please join local elected officials and St. Louisans, young and old, at a community solidarity gathering marking the one year anniversary of the kidnapping of the three Israeli soldiers on Monday, July 30, 4:30 PM at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building.  For more information, please see flyer on bulletin board.
