SHABBATON JANUARY 26TH & 27THFrom the Epstein Shabbaton Committee: We are looking forward to sharing a wonderful Shabbat with the Young Israel family.  Your support and gracious hospitality are much appreciated. One of the goals of our weekend is to showcase our students’ talents both in and out of shul. The students will be leading some parts of the davening, giving Divrei Torah and participating in the regular minyan.  To this end, we are expecting our students to be in shul.  Our teachers have worked hard to put together a special Siddur/Chumash that the kids will be using while they are in shul.  We are hoping that these materials will keep our children engaged and excited about participation in the Shabbat service.  While decorum is of the utmost importance, we ask that our members be aware that we have an incredible opportunity in hosting such a large group of families.  We expect parents to be mindful of their children and intercede appropriately if there is too much noise.  Please be respectful of our guests and the children; the noise of learning, davening and Torah is a wonderful sound!  We’d like to thank the community for opening its doors to us.  May this be the first of many events our communities can share together!
