COMMUNITY
EVENTS
JEWISH FOOD PANTRY ANNUAL DRIVE - The
food pantry serves hundreds of families in the Jewish and
non-Jewish community and is the only local food pantry that provides
kosher food on request to its clients. It is important that we support this
endeavor and help the less fortunate in our own community. Please drop
off canned foods e.g. (soup, tuna, vegetables, fruit) packaged pasta,
puddings and baby food in the boxes in the front of our shul during the coming
week. Thank you.

MITZION KOLLEL – the following events will be held at Young Israel: Oct. 6th - Israeli Ushpizim from
Memphis. Oct. 7th - Seuda Shlishit for Women, Dvar Torah by Vardit Teperberg
(6:15 in Faye Newman's Sukka, 7916 Stanford) Derech Eretz Sunday Groups (K-7th
grade) will have an afternoon kick-off on Sunday, Oct. 22nd.
