REMINDER!High Holiday seating requests are due in the office by Tuesday, September 5th.  The seating committee will make every effort to meet your requests.  However, they will only assign seats if you turn in a request form.  Forms are located in the lobby for your convenience. BABYSITTING –Your request for babysitting for the High Holidays is due by Tuesday, September 5th.  Please remember to include your child’s name and age on the form. Forms are located in the lobby for your convenience.

 

NEW YEAR GREETINGS New Year Greetings are to be sent to Matilda Zeffren, 8038 Cornell, by Wed., Sept. 6th. The cost for a regular greeting is $10, and for a personalized greeting is $18.  Please do not send your greeting to the Shul office.

SECOND ANNUAL KOSHER CHILI COOK OFF Scheduled for Sun., Sept. 3rd at Nusach Hari B’nai Zion has been cancelled.

 

HILLEL AT 60As  part of a series of events honoring St. Louis Hillel’s remarkable past, present and future, Rob Goldberg, Hillel International V.P. for Campus Advancement & former St. Louis Executive Director, will speak on Tues., Sept 12 at 7:00 PM at the St. Louis Hillel Auditorium. OHR ATID’S FAMILY WALK-A-THON & BBQ Come to support the new “Include Me’ program to benefit children with special needs in our community’s Jewish Day Schools on Sun. DISCUSSION OF ORGAN TRANSPLANTSAdinah Raskas will be the featured speaker at “A New Year—a New Life: a Discussion of Organ Transplants” on Wed., Sept. 13th at 7:30 PM at the Brodsky Library in the Jewish Federation Koplow Bldg.  Rabbi Hyim Shafner will join in the discussion of organ transplants.
