NEWS ABOUT OUR MEMBERS

 

THE STORMMany people in our area are without power. If you need any help, please call Marcia Esrig at 727-5520. If you have power and can assist with meals or sleeping arrangements, please call Leila Biel at 863-3331 or the Rabbi at 726-0283/727-1880. Already, many people have been very generous with their help. If you can, please be among them. We thank Leila and Marcia for their kind assistance in this important relief effort.

                                           - Also, the A/C will remain on all day Shabbos. If you are without power, please feel free to spend your afternoon at the Shul.

TZESCHEM L’SHALOMWe wish a tzeschem l’shalom to the Genut family, Rav Boaz, Heftzi and the children as they plan to return home to Israel in the coming week. We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing them in Israel. The Shul thanks them for three wonderful years during which their classes, activities, and friendship enhanced our Shul’s many programs. We will miss them, and we wish them hatzlacha rabah in all their endeavors.

UNVEILINGThere will be a monument unveiling for the late Morris Feder, z”l, beloved father of Dr. Joseph Feder, this Sunday, July 23rd at 11 AM at the Chesed Shel Emes cemetery on Olive.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

 

Change of Venue   St. louis torah mitzion kollel . Because of the storm, the farewell barbeque in honor of  Rabbi & Mrs. Boaz Genut will take place at the Shul this Sun. July 23rd from 6:30 – 8:30 PM
