PLEASE
NOTE
AN IMPORTANT
REQUEST
In light of the current
danger facing our brothers and sisters in Israel, we need to appreciate the
critical importance of our collective prayers especially this Shabbos. I know
we are all familiar with the prohibition against talking during the davening
and our obligation to daven with kavannah. And so, I want to request the
obvious: let’s daven this Shabbos (and every Shabbos) with the quiet and
kavannah that is so necessary during this critical period. It’s the very least
we can do. We ought never to underestimate the power of our tefillos. May all
of our prayers beseech HaShem to protect and safeguard our beloved Israel, the
IDF and all of its citizens..
Rabbi Bienenfeld
